Textbook Revolution
As a student at Northeastern University in Boston, I got frustrated by the high prices of textbooks and decided to do something about it. A few years later, I had built a website cataloging hundreds of free online textbooks, been interviewed by NPR, USA Today, and others, and successfully sold www.textbookrevolution.com in a cash and stock trade. I haven't been involved for years, but the website lives on and the movement to reform textbook publishing is stronger than ever.
