Bartlett Events
In the summer of 2013, I was one of the co-producers of the Bartlett Events community art and events series in Roxbury, MA. Together with my partners Jeremy Alliger of Alliger Arts and Mark Matel of Nuestra Comunidad, we hosted over 100 murals and 15 events in an abandoned bus yard. Click here for more info.
Bartlett Yard has now been demolished and construction will soon start on hundreds of units of housing and retail space. But our impact will not be forgotten: Nuestra has plans to develop the new space as an "artistic village" with plentiful public art and a permanent public event space.
